The Plan Transformation

Through the trials and tribulations of life, we hope we get what we want (or at least what we need) most of the time.  Some of the time, we get rejected, left out, devalued, unrecognized and mistreated.  When life gets difficult, our egos feel injured and our pride is threatened.  It is our humility and our self-reflection of the cause and effects our actions that help us carry on….to be more aware, more responsible, more accountable.  It is the outcome of our situations that can serve as our best teachers of lessons we need to learn in this lifetime in order to spiritually evolve.  After all, it is the mistakes we make, and learn from that transform us into stronger and wiser human beings.

When things don’t work out, remember, that you’re never left empty-handed if you choose to see it that way.  You can walk away with your experience, and use it as a reference point of what you want, and what you don’t want.  There’s no such thing as a failure except the failure to recognizing that you are bigger than your situation.  If you let your situation to greater than you, then the situation wins. Don’t let that happen on your watch.  Know when it’s time to self-reflect, take ownership of your actions, and take your knowledge gained with you along your journey.  Hold that knowledge near to you for remembering what you have learned will take you far in life.  So now it’s time to talk about knowing when it’s time to move on.

Move on from what?... a bad habit, a tumultuous relationship, a dissatisfactory profession, an unpleasant experience, or a fleeting annoyance…..

Move on to what?....liberation from habitual negative thinking, becoming a more confident person, achieving more inner joy….

Why do I need to move on? …..it’s just not working for you anymore, you’ve outgrown your predicament, you’ve been “sick and tired of being sick and tired”……

The answers are up to you.

A New Plan-- Transformation

A new plan will give you relief from disappointment, and a reason to switch gears.

A new plan can motivate you to press forward so you can achieve new accomplishments.

A new plan is your “hook to hang your hat on.”

When you see results from your new plan, you can surrender discouragement for the last time.

Refresh yourself with encouragement.

Whether or not your new plan brings you desired results is not as relevant as your

conscious choice

to be out with the old,

and in with the new.

You’ll know when the time is right

to make that change.

You’ll get a burst of energized readiness

to revise your priorities,

and transform your life.

Don’t be afraid to go back to the drawing board.

A Few Words on Acceptance

Accepting the result of our disappointments can be very healing.  Acceptance is a noble action.  Find your courage, and face up to the painful reality. Dispel all delusions that wishful thinking will eventually bring you what you’re looking for.    Lift the denial, and move on.  Merge forward with creative energy and gusto.  Begin anew.

Acceptance needs to happen sooner that later. It’s a time-sensitive matter.  Acceptance gets you one step closer to getting on with your life instead of delaying the inevitable.  Be Real.  Accept as is.  Cry, scream, punch a pillow in you have to intil you’ve had enough.   Make the mindful effect to get the agony out of your system.  Don’t bottle up your angst.  The pain just grows and builds and then it sticks to you like glue.  The longer you harbor this pain, the harder it will be for you to shed it

Easier said than done, right? I get it.

Still, it’s time to be getting on your way.  There’s no person in this world that gets to stay stagnant whether in a great or lousy situations. Even infants must grow out of their mothers’ arms.

Is there a place of pain you keep going back to?   This “place” is like a water well that has run dry. And yet, every time to return to this place, you get disappointed that the well is dry. Once again, and again, and again. Logically you know this well doesn’t have the water to quench your thirst, but you find yourself double-checking just in case a rainfall will appear.

Get into the mindset of fresh possibilities. Quit the guilt trips you take, end the pointless self-criticisms, take the blinders off and see your potential…all that great stuff that’s inside of you just waiting to come out.

If we stay stuck in the old, with minimal possibilities, we are wasting precious time to focus on starting our clean slate. It puts us right back to the place of pain.  It takes us back to a time in our lives when we were younger, weaker and vulnerable.

Today you are strong.

Never forget that.

You’ve come so far.

Just think of how much further you can go.
