About Me

Rebecca Hayman, LMSW, ACSW, CAAC is a clinical social worker/psychotherapist  specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

With over  15 years experience as a therapist, and as a graduate of University of Michigan specializing in supportive psychotherapy and life counseling.  She is currently serving as private practitioner working with teens and adults coming from diversified background, and dealing with a variety of issues. Among her areas of expertise are:   coping with depression and/or anxiety, situations anxiety, life tragic events (i.e. divorce, loss of loved one/job/relationship), employment conflict, marital conflict, parent/child conflict, Personality Disorders, self-esteem building.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Rebecca is an author of a self-published book called, "Alphabet Advice for Adults".  Rebecca has recently been invited to be a guest writer for the Michigan Family Law Journal, and has published several articles covering topics such as, psychological abuse, domestic violence and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.  Rebecca has training in meditation practice, and completed a course called, MBSR (Mindful Based Stress Reduction), started by Jon Kabat Zinn.

Rebecca is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She offers a personalized approach tailored to each client. With sincere empathy and unconditional positive regard, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
